been around for over a hundred
years, and it still has not
reached its zenith. More people
own and use it now than ever
before in history. Members of
elite U.S. military units that
go into harm's way regularly
still carry it, with no plans to
use something else. You just
can’t find a better platform and
cartridge combination than the
1911 to take to war as a
secondary weapon. If built by
the right people, and used by
someone who is competent, there
is not a better handgun to take
to a fight.
